Seiko is one of the most famous watch brands in the world, because the Japanese brand has existed for more than 130 years and produces reliable watchesin a wide range of models and price ranges. From very affordable to luxurious, from classic to technologically advanced; Every Seiko watch represents the essence of Japanese craftsmanship.
The history of Seiko watches is the story of innovation. Thanks to a continuous stream of leading innovations in the past decades, Seiko has captured the position as a world leader in watch technology. It all started in 1881, when Kintaro Hattori opened a jewelry store in the Ginza district in Tokyo. In 1892 he started producing clocks under the name Seikosha which means something like 'House of excellent craftsmanship'.
The first watches produced under the name Seiko were released in 1924. In 1969, Seiko introduced the Astron, the world's first quartz watch and the first quartz chronograph. Today this line still exists; but now the advanced solar GPS watches are the highest segment of Seiko. All Seiko watches were made in-house.
Because of their unique style and provenance, Seiko watches are very popular with collectors: from the Seiko 5 series to the (Monster) dive watches.
In addition to a classic collection of Seiko ladies watches and classic sports collection watches and chronographs for men, we also have a large selection of solar watches and kinetic watches.
As watch specialist we naturally also carry the somewhat more specialized and luxurious Seiko watch lines such as Astron, Premier, Presage and Prospex, but also the affordable automatic watches from the Seiko 5 series.
