Analog-digital watches, the name itself already suggests it: these watches combine the best of both worlds. Analog-digital watches have both analog time display and a digital one. Often, they have a subtle digital screen on the watch face as a complement to the analog time display, but the analog hands can also support a larger digital screen. This gives the watches an advanced look, making them available in various styles.
As you’ve probably already noticed, G-Shock is the one setting the pace in the world of analog-digital watches. This applies to both the more robust models and the subtle 2100 series. However, an analog-digital watch doesn't necessarily have to be large, rugged, and tough. This is evident in the Casio Lineage Waveceptor and the Garmin Vivomove, where the digital screen is subtly incorporated into the dial. Seiko and Citizen are also very creative in integrating the screen in Propex and Promaster, the flagship models of these brands.
